Chili with an "i"

Anyone who is a fan of the show, "Good Eats" will probably remember Alton Brown's The Big Chili show. It was hilarious! In the show he made a pressure cooked chili, so today I re-watched his video and copied down the recipe to make for dinner. So the link is listed below for his original recipe. I tweaked it a bit so here is my rendition: enjoy!

Chili recipe tweaked by me:
3 pounds of beef (found chuck on half price at the store, sweet!) Cut into large pieces.
Tablespoon of olive oil, can use oil of your choice.
1 12 oz bottle of beer
16 oz of salsa (I used canned salsa from the Mexican isle for authenticity).
Two large handfuls of Sun Chips crushed, any tortillas would due.
1 can black beans, of course pinto or your beans of choice will work too. The beans add some fiber and vegetable protein for a more complete meal.
Two canned Chipolte peppers which we found to be a little too hot, so I recommend just using one. You can always add more!
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder.
-------------------
Add oil to large pot and add meat to brown.
When browned to your satisfaction, add beer, salsa, tortillas, and cumin. If using a pressure cooker, put on lid and cook for thirty minutes. Allow pressure to normalize, remove lid and add canned beans. Reheat and leave on low to keep it hot.
If using traditional pot, cover and cook to desire meat tenderness.
