Tobacco varieties recommended for Cigars and the home gardener.

A customer called and asked for tobacco seed recommendations for cigars, so thought I would share them with you.
Monte Calme Yellow: A european variety used in both cigarettes and as a wrapper for cigars.
Small Stalk Black Mammoth: Deep dark tobacco prized by tobacco growers for both cigarettes and cigars.
Madole: Recommended for first time growers as this is a quick grower and hardier than some other varieties.
Goose Creek Red: Use in blends for both cigarettes and cigars. Cures to a beautiful deep red color and adds some unique flavor.
Hungarian Dark: Oriental variety that produces very deep dark tobacco favored by those who look for a Turkish blend. Cigarettes, pipes, cigars.
Havanas: Of course, a "must" for cigars! We offer three strains for the home grower.

Click HERE to watch a You Tube video on how to roll cigars. I suggest that you mute the sound as it is in Spanish and lots of background factory noise, but the technique is definitely worth watching!
